Yao is currently a second-year master’s student in the Survey and Data Science program. He received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from University of Wisconsin – Madison. He worked at Department of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin as an undergraduate research assistant prior to joining MPSDS. As a master student, he is studying the social science emphasis of the program.
