Wenyi Wang is a first-year Master’s student in the Michigan Program in Survey and Data Science at the University of Michigan, with an emphasis in Social Science. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
Wenyi is currently a research assistant at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), Institute for Social Research. She supports quantitative data processing and analysis of geographic and public health data for population-level research projects. She previously worked as a research assistant in social cognitive neuroscience, investigating neural mechanisms underlying cognitive processes and social behavior. As an undergraduate student, she developed foundational skills in behavioral coding and research design. After completing her graduate studies, she plans to further develop interdisciplinary research that integrates quantitative methods with social and behavioral science.
