Collection and application of digital trace data; computational social science; social statistics; social media as a data source
Current Research/Work:
I am a new member of the life history group in the Health and Retirement Study (HRS). I am also working as a guest researcher of the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR) on a project about the user structure of a social media platform and its comparison with general population.
More information about me:
I received my Bachelor’s degree in statistics from Fudan University, Shanghai. I am interested in topics like how digital trace data can facilitate social and demographic research and what statistical techniques might be applied to reduce the bias in such data.
