I am currently a PhD student here at MPSDS. I received my Master’s Survey and Data Science at the University of Michigan and Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Wisconsin in Sociology and Political Science. He has worked on various research projects over the last 5 years at the University of Wisconsin Survey Center, RTI International, the University of Michigan School of Nursing, and the National Science Foundation. My ongoing work focuses on measurement methods of sexual and gender minorities in health research, dependent interviewing techniques, and measurement differences between agree/disagree and item-specific question wording. I currently am interested in methods of merging multiple survey sources for estimation of small populations with rare outcomes.
