Akari Oya received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Michigan. Before joining MPSDS, Akari mostly worked in psychology research labs which examined well-being and health disparities from a biopsychosocial lens. Stemming from her multi-cultural background, she has interests in cross-cultural data. In her free time, she likes to drink oolong tea, shoot photography, solo karaoke, and hang out with her cat, Miso.
