Mi Huynh is a first-year Master’s student in the Michigan Program in Survey and Data Science at the University of Michigan, with an emphasis in Social Science. She is interested in integrating cultural sensitivity into questionnaire development and implementing large-scale surveys to influence public policy.
Mi is currently a research assistant at the Survey Research Center, where she contributes to survey design, sampling strategies, and statistical analyses for projects focused on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. She previously served as a research assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas, where she collected, cleaned, and analyzed experimental and behavioral data. Mi is an Achievement Fellow, fostering academic excellence, engaging the MPSDS community, and providing peer mentorship. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in applied social research or health policy research, striving for data-driven decisions in policy making.
