My research interests revolve around survey sampling methods, sample weighting techniques and use of technology to improve the efficiency and quality of survey designs.
Current Research/Work:
I am the senior sampling statistician on the Survey for Monitoring in Resilience and Food Security (SMRFS) project implemented by ICF on behalf of USAID's Bureau for Resilience and Food Security. This project is part of the Feed the Future initiative and aims to provide high quality population-based survey sample data in monitoring resilience and food security programs implemented in vulnerable communities across a number of countries globally. My role on the project is to oversee the design and implementation of high quality survey samples in each country, produce appropriate survey sampling weights for analysis and provide technical guidance and assistance on survey methodology issues in general on the project.
