Dr. Kelly Long is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of North Georgia, teaching in the doctoral program in higher education. Prior to UNG, Dr. Long was the Assistant Vice President at Walsh College where she oversaw research, assessment, and accreditation. She served in a similar role for six years at Oakland Community College. Dr. Long is a long time peer-reviewer and former editor of the Community College Journal of Research and Practice. She is a peer-reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission. Her research focuses in QuantCrit, the field that examines how research use and misuse racial and other identity based statistics.
