My research interests include survey methodology, applied survey data analysis, health informatics, and data-driven decision-making.
Current Research/Work:
I'm currently working as a research assistant with Brady and Curtiss on a secondary analysis project using the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) data. The project aims to conduct detailed examinations of the results of a randomized experiment implemented on a national sample as part of the NSFG and evaluate the effects of different approaches to measuring sexual identity on estimates of population differences that are critical to advancing knowledge in this important area of public health.
More information about me:
Hi! Have you met… Sorry if you haven’t watched How I Met Your Mother. That’s the pickup line I learned from the sitcom. 😛
I am Rona. I got my B.S. in psychology from National Chengchi University in Taiwan. After graduation, I worked for 2 years in a survey company with a call center, where I acquired practical experience in conducting surveys and analyzing data. Besides, I gave an oral presentation in AAPOR 2022 and a poster presentation in JSM 2022.
I love aesthetics, the concept of art and philosophy, which is concerned with the idea that an object is beautiful – from painting and photography to music, architecture and interior design, outfit styles, and even minds.
I also enjoy taking a walk a lot. Recently, my favorite thing is the morning air in Ann Arbor. 🙂
