As part of its effort to advance this initiative and the belief that diversity is essential for excellence in graduate education, MPSDS is in the planning stages for diversity activities.
Past events have included the University of Michigan’s Program in Survey and Data Science (MPSDS) Diversity Recruitment Event . The MPSDS Diversity Recruitment Event provided promising underrepresented undergraduate students from around Michigan with information about graduate school in survey methodology along with information about the field. The event consisted of panel discussions with faculty, lunch with current students, a campus tour and as well as a session on helpful hints for applying to graduate school.
